MMAC Hosts Preview of NY Musical Theater Festival
    MMAC hosted the press preview of the New York Musical Theater Festival's 2008 season in its new theater on Sept. 8.  The festival, in its fifth year, supports and promotes new musical theater productions and artists to a wide audience.

     "We are so excited and proud to host the New York Musical Theater Festival," said Rose Caiola, MMAC founder and artistic director, in welcoming remarks.

     The NYMF season, which runs from Sept. 15 to Oct. 5, will include 24 full productions, a dance series, developmental productions, concerts and special events. Three dance series programs will be the first major productions to be  presented in MMAC's 165-seat, state-of-the-art theater.

     They will include: "The HourGlass and the Poison Pen," Sept. 27 and 28; "Ward 9", Sept. 18, 20 and 21; and "Wild About Harry" , Sept. 19, 20, 21 and 28. Information:
