Work-Study Program
Join the MMAC Team And Receive Discounted Classes
MMAC’s Work-Study Program provides financial assistance to women and men who are pursuing careers in the performing arts. Students are offered classes at a discounted rate in exchange for 3 hours of work per week with a commitment of at least eight weeks. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
Manhattan Movement & Arts Center offers morning and evening ballet classes. In addition to savings on ballet classes, Work-Study students will receive discounts on Manhattan Youth Ballet performance tickets and at the Taste Café.
Job Descriptions
Receptionist
A good candidate must be a friendly, personable, well spoken, outgoing team player. This job requires a commitment of 3 hours per week and includes the following tasks:
- Answering 20-line phone system
- Taking and distributing detailed messages
- Taking open class attendance
- Printing documents
- Light filing
Café attendant
This job requires a commitment of 3 hours per week.
