| Ivo Gueorguievhas reached the heights of theatrical circus performance through his participation in Cirque du Soleil, including the Emmy-nominated Bravo special, Dralion. The native Bulgarian, whose early love of sports and gymnastics led to circus performance, has devoted himself for 25 years to developing his artistry. An audience favorite, Ivo has appeared on stages throughout the world with aerial dance choreography that is both demanding and enchanting, including the ground-breaking performance in 1999 of an aerial pas de deux flying on fabric, which became the featured act of Cirque du Soleil. He has taught for more than a decade; some of his students currently perform with Cirque do Soleil. |
| This class includes flying on fabric, aerial dance on fabric, trapeze, aerial hoop, hand balancing, tumbling and acrobatics. This Theatrical Circus Program is the only one being offered in New York City that teaches all levels, from beginners to professionals. Along with the skills you learn in this class, you will also improve your strength, flexibility, coordination and more. This course of study gives motivated students a positive and exciting experience and an opportunity to learn from a true professional. |
