| Born in Nagoya, Japan, Chio started dancing when she was eighteen. Part of her training included joining a company called Ceezooraton where she performed at live houses, theaters, bridal fashion shows, and special events. In February of 1998, she came to New York as a student of Alvin Ailey. Since then, Chio has assembled an impressive television, video, stage and commercial credits which include: The Queen Latifah Show, The Chris Rock Show, recording artists Out of Eden, Bacardi, KTU's Beatstock, and dancing and choreographing the New Jersey Nets. |
