STUDIO & THEATER COMPLEX
The MMAC theater is a versatile venue for hosting a range of events that include rehearsals, auditions, performances, lectures, parties and receptions. The theater accommodates 180 when its telescopic seating array is extended and features a suspended lighting grid, full digital audio playback and a piano. A motorized wall enables division of the space into two separate studios. In addition, expert staffing and service make MMAC the premiere rental choice.
MMAC studios offer the obstruction-free space favored by teachers, dance makers and students. Choose from five modern, climate-controlled studios in sizes and configurations that suit a variety of requirements. Our studios are approved for Equity auditions. Features include high ceilings (two are rigged for aerial dance), sprung floors, mirrors, pianos and sound systems.
MMAC offers a variety of dance and performance programs, including Manhattan Youth Ballet and MMAC Kids.
